Course overview

The National Diploma in Coaching Science is currently under application and will be offered as from 2019. The National Certificate in Coaching Science is a prerequisite for the National Diploma in Coaching Science and can be completed during 2018.

HFPA is one of only a few institutions in the country that offer a fully CATHSSETA accredited coaching qualification up to National Diploma level. This is the next year on from a National Certificate in Coaching Sciences and is a full qualification that allows you to coach sporting teams and athletes including juniors, intermediates, seniors and professionals.

Note: Students will first need to complete The National Certificate in Coaching Science, which advances to the National Diploma in Coaching Science.

Study modes

  • Full Time: Interactive weekday workshops
  • Part Time: Structured workshops on weekends or during the evening
  • Distance/Blended: Online with workshops structured nationally at HFPA Campuses and regional training centres.
